Arlayn is a seasoned negotiator, who joined the HRA team in November 2007. Formerly, she was employed at Amgen where she excelled rapidly and was promoted to lead a team of six within a year of employment. She prides herself on providing mentorship to team members and/or co-workers. Prior to Amgen, Arlayn negotiated entertainment contracts for the television and music industries for approximately 10 years. At HRA she will (a) continue to provide mentorship and management; (b) partake in the negotiation of clinical research agreements and budgets; (c) serve as a liaison between the Q/A and contracts departments and (d) contribute her skills and experience where required. Arlayn holds a Juris Doctorate Degree and a B.S. in Psychology and English.

Denise Deack, one of the pillars of Health Research Association, has been here since 1989 and currently her primary responsibility is to interact with Principal Investigators, Project Administrators/Coordinators and external funding agencies in the negotiation of Clinical Trial Agreements and Budgets for industry sponsored research. Denise has a wide range of skills and with her vast experience is well versed in most of the operational aspects of the organization.
Teresa has served HRA’s Grants & Contracts Department since 2002. Her role is to review and negotiate industry sponsored clinical trials contracts and budgets.
Bobby has been an employee of HRA’s since 1997. He worked for 20 years as a project coordinator and Q/A Q/C coordinator for various research projects over the years. In November 2007, he joined our Office of Contracts Administration and brings real world experience regarding project implementation and management to our contracts office. He will be reviewing and negotiating contracts for new clinical trials.
